"Lynn J. Harris" is a trading name of Irene Education Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC838376 and registered office at 272 Bath Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 4JR. In these terms, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Irene Education Ltd, trading as Lynn J. Harris.

Welcome to Lynn J. Harris. By purchasing our online courses or attending our facilitated live programs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with our services.



1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including the purchase and participation in online courses and in-person workshops. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.



2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old. We do not offer services or courses for individuals under 18 years of age.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or purchasing.



3. Purchases and Payments

a. Payment Terms:

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan is explicitly offered.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other options specified on our website.

b. Refund Policy:

  • Refund requests for online courses must be submitted within 14 days of purchase, provided the course has not been accessed.
  • Refunds for in-person workshops must be requested no later than 7 days before the scheduled start date.
  • No refunds will be issued if course access is shared, transferred, or otherwise misused in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
  • No refunds are available for missed workshops or partially completed courses.

 

c. Licensing Fees:

  • Licensees or Facilitators purchasing Per-Participant Licenses for in-person courses must adhere to the licensing fee structure outlined by Irene Education Ltd. Licensing fees are calculated per-participant and must be paid in full before the course delivery begins. Detailed instructions for fee calculation and payment will be provided as part of the operational process.

 



4. Online Courses

a. Access:

  • Access to online courses is granted to the purchaser only and is non-transferable.
  • Course materials are available for a specified period, as detailed at the time of purchase.
  • Course access is monitored to ensure compliance with our policies. Misuse, such as sharing access credentials, may result in termination without a refund.

b. Intellectual Property:

  • All course content, including videos, materials, and resources, is the property of Irene Education Ltd and is protected by copyright laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or perform any course materials without explicit permission from Irene Education Ltd.

 



5. In-Person Workshops

a. Participation:

  • Participants must adhere to all instructions and safety guidelines provided during the workshop.
  • Participants are responsible for their own well-being during the workshop and must disclose any medical or other conditions that could affect their participation.

b. Cancellation Policy:

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a new date.
  • If a workshop is canceled due to non-compliance with our guidelines or disruptive behavior by the participant, no refund will be provided.

 



6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific results from our courses or workshops.

 



7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Irene Education Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

 



8. Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policywhich outlines how your data is collected, used, and shared.

  • As a participant in our training programs, your data may be shared with Licensees or other authorised entities acting as joint controllers for course delivery and certification purposes.
  • Participants must provide explicit consent for any data processing activities related to our programs. All parties handling participant data are required to comply with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

  • In the event of termination, any data collected will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including compliance with retention and deletion requirements.

 



10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Scotland.



11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

  • The content of our courses and workshops is designed for educational purposes only. It is not intended to provide medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice.

  • Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support for any personal issues related to the subject matter of the training.

  • Irene Education Ltd is not liable for any personal decisions or actions taken by participants based on the content of the training.

  



14. Certification Standards (if applicable)

  • Certification is contingent on successful completion of all required assessments, attendance, and participation.
  • Certification may be revoked if participants are found to have violated these Terms and Conditions, the License Agreement, or the Privacy Policy.
  • Certified individuals are responsible for maintaining their certification through periodic recertification or additional training as outlined by Irene Education Ltd.

 



15. Intellectual Property

  • Participants may use course materials solely for personal learning or for purposes explicitly outlined in their agreements with Irene Education Ltd.
  • Sharing or distributing materials outside of the terms of this agreement will be treated as a breach of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

 



16. Accessibility and Accommodations

We are committed to making our courses and workshops accessible to all participants. If you require accommodations or have specific accessibility needs, please contact us at least 14 days before the course or workshop to discuss available options.

 



17. Limitation of Use

Participants may not use the training content, methodologies, or materials provided by Irene Education Ltd to:

  • Develop or deliver competing programs or courses.
  • Repurpose materials for commercial use or financial gain without explicit written permission.

 



18. Licensing Obligations

  • Participants in training programs that require licensing (e.g., Certified Facilitators) must:
  • Comply with all terms of the License Agreement provided by Irene Education Ltd.
  • Ensure that all necessary operational and administrative steps related to licensing are completed as directed by Irene Education Ltd, including the purchase of participant licenses.
  • Pay all licensing fees in a timely manner as part of their compliance with the licensing process.
  • Non-compliance with licensing obligations may result in suspension or termination from the program without refund.

 



19. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by factors beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, labor disputes, or technological failures.

 



20. Indemnification

  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Irene Education Ltd from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their misuse of course materials, breach of these Terms and Conditions, or failure to comply with applicable laws.
 


21. Operational and Administrative Processes

To ensure the effective delivery of our programs, Irene Education Ltd may require participants, Licensees, or facilitators to follow specific administrative or operational processes, including but not limited to:

  • Completing and submitting necessary documentation for program participation or licensing.
  • Following payment instructions and adhering to deadlines.
  • Providing accurate participant and course delivery details.

Failure to follow these processes may result in delays, additional fees, or denial of participation.
