About Lynn J Harris & Irene Education

Founded in memory of Irene Harris, who was murdered by her husband in 1983,  Irene Education is dedicated to making trauma-informed abuse education and trauma awareness accessible and practical.

Since 2011, Lynn J Harris has served as a specialist educator, working with diverse communities, frontline professionals, and international organisations.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between theory and reality by turning lived experience and practice-based evidence into structured CPD-accredited training.

We focus on the dynamics of abuse, coercive control, and trauma impact, helping people recognise harmful patterns and build safer responses.

Whether through our online course - accessible directly to participants, our signature facilitator development or bespoke team workshops, we empower practitioners to improve safeguarding outcomes and support those affected by or perpetrating abuse & trauma with empathy, understanding and specialist insight.
